What is consignment?
A consigner will bring their new or gently loved fashion items to be reviewed. After being looked at, a “yes” pile will be made. These are the clothes that will be acceptable for selling in the store. These items are generally in perfect condition and lightly used without any stains/damages/defects. The clothes will be priced at 40-80% below retail value. When a consigner’s item(s) sell, they will make a percentage of the sold price so that the store and the consigner make a profit. Once their clothes sell the consigner is able to receive their profit.
How can I earn money?
Do you have current fashion apparel or accessories in your wardrobe that are in great condition? Do you have designer brands in your closet that may even have tags on them? Do you have classic pieces or professional wear that you are ready to replace? Well simply clean out your closet and bring them in. Please read the intake checklist below.
How many items must I bring in?
There is no limit to the number of items you can bring in. We must be able to accept….
What items do you accept?
We accept trendy and professional wear, including designer brands, classic pieces and independent designers! Our selection varies slightly by season, but typically includes, blazers, trendy and classic tops, slacks, stylish handbags, jewelry, shoes, and even a few men’s items.
**Only authentic items please. We do not accept counterfeits**
What should I do before I bring them (Intake Checklist)?
Simply clean out your closet and check all garments for any holes, stains, tears, defects, lint, etc. Launder them and make sure they are free of wrinkles. Hang them and bring them in. If they are shoes or jewelry, then you can bring them in boxes or containers. NO BAGS. Items should be ready to go to the sales floor.
When Can I bring my items in?

How much money can I really make?
Do you have designer fashion items over $200? Then you can set the retail price. We pay the most for designer handbags hands down! Set your minimum. We pay 45% on all other fashion items. Get your check at any time. Just call ahead and we can run a check.
Do I have to come back and pick up my items?
You have two options. You can come back and get them during the pick up period or you can leave them on the floor until they expire and they will become the property of Stylish Consignments. We will donate items to local charities.
When do you begin accepting seasonal items?
We begin accepting fall and winter items in July and spring and summer items in January; however, we will always accept out-of-season items that are unique, designer handbags, and high demand items. Feel free to bring them in and we will help you.
What is a Drop and Run?
After your first time dropping off items, you can proceed with a drop and run where you simply count you items, complete a small questionnaire, and leave them. Items that we cannot accept, you have the option of donating them or picking them up within 2 business days. Once you items have been processed, you will be emailed an item list with prices and expiration date.
